Sprinkler Repair in Fort Worth, TX
Sprinkler repair Fort Worth homeowners and property managers rely on — and we know the watering rules here, because half our calls start with them.
Fort Worth is the largest city we cover and the one with the most varied housing stock — a 1920s bungalow in Fairmount and a 2021 build out west have almost nothing in common underground. What they share is the soil, and the soil is what breaks systems here.
We repair irrigation systems throughout Fort Worth — Tanglewood, Arlington Heights, Westover Hills, Fairmount, Ryan Place, Berkeley, Monticello and the newer builds out past Walsh. Licensed under Texas Irrigator License LI#0030401. Free estimates, and no trip charge.
Watering rules in Fort Worth
Fort Worth runs a year-round twice-per-week schedule assigned by the last digit of your street address.
| Who | Days |
|---|---|
| Addresses ending 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 | Wednesday and Saturday |
| Addresses ending 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 | Thursday and Sunday |
| Non-residential, apartments, parks, HOA common areas | Tuesday and Friday |
| Everyone | No watering Mondays |
No irrigation system may run between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on any day. Runoff into the street and broken, misaligned or missing heads are separately prohibited, whatever day it is.
Penalties are added to your water bill and escalate: $25, then $50, then $75, then a citation and meter lock-out.

Fort Worth requires rain and freeze sensors on every system installed on or after June 1, 2007, and an annual inspection on all commercial irrigation systems. If you manage a retail centre, apartment complex or HOA common area here and have no current inspection on file, that is work we do, with a written report.
What breaks on Fort Worth systems
Fort Worth sits largely on Blackland Prairie clay, with Eagle Ford shale under parts of the west side. That clay shrinks and swells hard between a wet spring and an August drought, and the movement shears lateral lines and snaps risers at the fitting. It is why a system runs perfectly for four years and then loses a zone overnight with nothing visible at the surface.
In the older neighbourhoods — Fairmount, Ryan Place, the Near Southside — we also find galvanised mains, early PVC gone brittle, and systems added onto three times by three different people with no zone map anywhere. Out west in the newer developments the usual problem is the opposite: builder-grade systems with heads spaced to the plan rather than to the pressure the lot actually has.
